Terms of Service

​​By commissioning me you agree to my terms of service.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Credit must be given to me, HumieArt, when commissioned artwork is used and posted online.
    For vtuber models, credit must be given in the bio. For stream assets, I would like to be added to your public credit page.

  • I retain all artistic copyrights to post/use commission artwork unless otherwise discussed (terms vary for commercial use)

  • You may not resell or use the artwork for commercial purposes (prints, merch, etc.) without prior agreement.

  • AI or NFT use is strictly prohibited.

  • You cannot make changes to the artwork unless we discuss it beforehand.

TAXES & PERSONAL INFO

  • I am legally required to collect private information (such as your real name and address) to comply with tax regulations, therefore I can only accept commissions from clients who provide these details.

  • I guarantee the privacy of your information and expect you to respect mine as well.

    Please address me as Humie online and DO NOT leak my info.

PAYMENT & REFUND

  • I only accept payment made with credit/debit card via Stripe (it's a secured and known payment platform, you don't have to have a Stripe account to be able to pay).

  • I will either send you a Stripe invoice to your email or ask you to pay on my Ko-fi.
    The currency will be EURO (€).

  • Commissions do not function on a first-come first-served basis. The accepted requests will be based on how well I'll be able to draw the character in order to ensure quality work, so slots are not guaranteed.

  • Commissions under 500€ require one full upfront payment: you have 24 hours to pay.

  • Split payments are acceptable for orders above 500€ (vtuber model art and big commissions)

  • No refunds whatsoever. Unless I, the artist, want to cancel the commission, I will refund around 90% (due to the transaction fee).

  • Due to the supply and demand, I might update my pricelist anytime between commission openings. This doesn’t apply if I already sent you a fixed quote.

TURNAROUND

  • Commissions typically take a maximum of 2 months to complete after the sketch phase.
    Vtuber models may take up to 4 months to draw and rig it.

  • I regularly update the Trello progress tracker.

  • You can pay a Priority fee (+50%) for urgent requests to be at the top of the queue.

  • You can DM me at any time to ask for a progress update. But do not rush me. Please be patient and respectful. I am a human and have other responsibilities, too.

  • To keep the workflow on schedule, timely & clear feedback is necessary.

STREAMING & WIPS

  • By commissioning me, you agree that your artwork may be streamed on Twitch, and WIP images may be shared on my social media.

  • If you prefer your commission to not be shared online, you must inform me. Additional fees may apply.

VTUBER COMMISSIONS

  • Vtuber commissions such as Model art, Live2D rigging, overlay, emotes, stream assets, and panels already streaming use fee.

  • Vtuber/PNGtuber models are categorized as commercial work, allowing you to use the model for streaming and online content creation.

  • You must credit me clearly as the model artist on your socials bio and in the Twitch/YouTube credit section.

  • For companies or talent agencies, prices will be determined through email.

  • If you wish to resell the model, please notify me first, and do not price it higher than what you paid.

  • If you win a free model art or Vtuber design from one of my raffles, you may not resell it for personal gain.

  • I retain the right to post showcases and commissioned work on my portfolio and social media.

    If you’d like to keep the model private until debut, please inform me.

Comms types

  • Personal use : Base prices + complexity + add-ons (objects, props, extra character, ...)

  • Priority (skip the waitlist or get a commission done by a deadline): +50%

  • Streaming use (advertising your vtuber, posting, banner, schedule, starting / ending / brb scene) : +50%

  • Merch use (including streaming use, printing & selling) : TBD depending on the size of project (usually +100-200%)

I can draw

  • Humanoids / Kemonomimi / Anthros

  • Any gender, ethnicity

  • Gore, bones, blood

  • Mecha, cyberpunk, streampunk

  • Suggestive, sexy

I will not draw

  • Characters that look like minors

  • Extreme NSFW

  • Elderly

  • Furries

  • Hateful, controversy stuffs

  • Anything I don't feel like

Feel free to ask me if I draw XYZ... I may reject orders I believe are outside my range of ability.

Commission Process : step-by-step

  1. You read and agree to my TOS

  2. You fill in the form with clear references, description and send me your inquiry

  3. You wait for my response: If I accept your request, I will contact you

  4. We discuss brief, quoting, payment, and schedule

  5. I send you the invoice, you pay the invoice

  6. I inform you about 1 week before I start working

  7. When working on it, I will send you work-in-progress screenshots. You need to approve or tell me if you want any adjustments.
    Note that I can't make big changes after the coloring stages! So clear feedback is crucial and appreciated.

  8. I finish and send you the files ! Done ^w^

F.A.Q

Do you offer [specific commission inquiry]?

The only way to know is to send me a DM on Twitter, Vgen or email me (artbyhumie@gmail.com). I will tell you if the project is possible as well as my availability.

You can also include a screenshot of a specific artwork or project of mine or from someone else. It will help me to visualize.

Be clear in the message since I will ignore random short messages like "Hi, how are you?".

What’s the difference between commissioning me via Vgen or directly?

On Vgen:

  • Final price + 5% platform fee + 5% transaction fee

Directly (via Google Order Form & Stripe Invoice):

  • No platform fee – You only pay the final price

  • I cover the transaction fee myself

Is off-Vgen payment safe?

Absolutely! Payments through Stripe are 100% secure, and I guarantee the same level of care, attention to detail, and on-time delivery as I do for all my clients.

I do offer some commission options on Vgen that are not listed here.
Feel free to send your inquiry there but request me for an off-Vgen payment if you want to.
