This Terms of Service is fully customized to my personal workflow and commission process.
Please take your time to read everything and carefully.
It’s important that we’re on the same page before we start, so we can build something amazing together.
If anything is unclear, I’m always happy to answer questions!“I”, “me”, and “my” refers to Humie, the artist and rigger.
“You” and “your” refers to the client commissioning the service.
🤝 AGREEMENT
By commissioning me, you agree to the following terms.
You are of legal age and fully responsible for any money exchanged.
You hold usage rights for all references or designs you provide.
You will contact other parties (e.g. character designer, artist, rigger, graphic designer...) if needed for any materials I request.
📜 TERMS CHANGE
I reserve the right to revise these terms. Continued use of my work implies agreement to updated terms. (Last update: August 2025)
👩🎨 ARTIST RIGHTS
I reserve the right to decline any commission without justification.
Commissions are not first-come-first-served. I select projects based on artistic match, feasibility, and current schedule.I retain the right to showcase my work (portfolio, social media, etc). If you need a privacy agreement, please let me know beforehand.
I don’t copy references or character sheets exactly as-is. I might adjust small details and colors if I feel it helps the pose, expression, or overall look flow better in my style. Thank you for trusting me to interpret your design with care and intention.
📝 CREDIT GUIDE
Credit has to be given publicly and properly linked/tagged. → Art by @HumieArt
Under your Twitch panel or on your website, credit should be linked to my website. → [HumieArt](https://humie.art)
For Live2D models, credit must be in your bio/about/credit page/panel.
For stream assets, credit must be in stream asset credit page/panel.
For illustrations, credit must be in the caption/bio/credit page/panel.
Feel free to tag me on X, I don't mind the notifications.
🎨 USAGES
All artwork remains my intellectual property.
Redistribution (merch, animation, resale, etc.) requires a commercial license or royalties, to be discussed in advance. (see below)
Do not use my work for AI, NFTs, or resell it without prior permission.
You cannot alter or reuse any part of my artwork without my approval.
⚖️ TAXES
In accordance with French law, I must collect your legal name, address, and email.
This data is kept strictly confidential and only used for invoicing or as required by law.
If you wish to remain anonymous, I’ll do my best to accommodate, but providing your info is recommended for smoother transactions.
🧮 PRICE QUOTES
Prices listed on my site are estimates — the final quote will depend on your design’s simplicity or complexity, pose, add-ons, usage terms (rush/NDA), and more. Feel free to reach out anytime for a personalized quote for your project!
Base prices include Personal and streaming use, but not ads and merch use. (see usage types for more info)
Once I send you a quote, it’s valid for 4 weeks — as prices may fluctuate over time with skill growth or market changes.
To prevent your quote to change after the 4 weeks, you are advised to either:
Pay in full.
Start a payment plan. (see below)
Pay a 10% reservation fee to lock your quote up to 6 months. Note: this deposit is non-refundable and will only be deducted from the final payment. Work will not start at this stage, as the deposit does not secure a time slot in my schedule.
Got a specific budget in mind? Let me know! I’ll always try my best to create something heartfelt and true to your vision, no matter the scale.
💳 PAYMENT
I will send you a Stripe invoice to your email for payment.
All payments are made through Stripe invoice (credit/debit cards) in Euro (€).
For commissions under 500€, I require full upfront payment.
📆 PAYMENT PLAN
Payment plans are available for orders over 500€, with bi-weekly or monthly options tailored to your needs.
Work generally begins once 50% of the total is paid, depending on queue.
For Live2D models, the timeline still depends on queue, but is more structured.
At 20% → I begin sketching the model art / or preparing for rigging.
At 40% → I begin rendering and cutting the model art / or rigging your model.
I’m happy to be flexible with payment plans, but please aim to complete your payment within 7 months.
Longer plans may result in additional fees and lower priority.If you’re facing financial difficulties and need to pause your payment plan, let me know.
Work can resume when you’re ready to pay again, as long as we stay in touch. However, please note that I’ll need to reschedule your order and prioritize fully paid projects of other clients.If you can't complete your payment plan and ghost me, I reserve the right to cancel the order and move on.
⚪️ WIP & PRIVACY
If your project is public, I may stream or post progress.
NDA fees apply for projects that should not be streamed or posted before debut.
You may also request anonymity at no extra cost.
Please let me know your preference at the beginning of the project.
💬 CONTACT
Please stay in touch throughout the project! I’ll request your feedback at each stage.
If I don’t receive a response within 2 weeks, despite multiple follow-ups, your commission will be paused and you will be notified.
Continued lack of communication will be considered ghosting, and I reserve the right to cancel the project.
My time and schedule must be respected.
🔧 REVISIONS
You’re welcome to provide feedback freely at those specific stages: thumbnail, sketch, and color sketch.
Major changes should be made during these phases.
Feel free to send extra materials and ideas while I am working on the piece. If it's possible to adjust, I will do my best to adapt.
Once rendering begins (after the colored sketch is approved), only minor fixes (details, small accessories, misunderstandings) are allowed. Extra fees may apply for any significant changes requested at this stage. (poses, outfit, hair...)
I may refuse major changes once the coloured sketch is approved.
⏳ DEADLINES
Delivery can take up to 2 months after full payment, unless you’ve agreed to extend the timeline for flexibility.
If you have a specific deadline, please inform me — a rush fee may apply.
Late responses or unclear feedback can delay your project. I am not responsible for delays caused by lack of communication.
📂 FILES
Commissions are delivered as digital files. No physical goods will be shipped.
Please download your files promptly. I am not responsible for lost files after delivery.
PSD and timelapses are only included if previously agreed.
You are not permitted to use or share any materials, sketches, or process screenshots exchanged during our communication without my approval.
💸 CANCEL
Client-initiated cancellation
Clients may cancel their order at any time before payment is made.
Once the commission is partially or fully paid, the client cannot cancel the order or request refunds.
No refunds will be issued once the work is fully completed and delivered.
If we are still in the early stages (before or during the sketching phase), you may request to change the commission type or brief. However, I reserve the right to refuse and continue delivering the artwork as originally planned.
Artist-initiated cancellation
If I, the artist, decide to discontinue your project, I will issue a refund of up to 80% of the total price — depending on the progress made and the amount already paid.
If you have paid less than 20% of the total price, no refund will be issued. This minimum amount covers necessary side work (communication, scheduling, brainstorming, planning), software/tool usage and Stripe transaction and invoicing fees.
Alternatively, I may offer a different solution, such as switching to another commission type, keeping your deposit as credit for a future project, or offering you a returning client discount (to be discussed case by case).
👮 CONDUCT
To maintain a respectful and safe environment for both sides, I ask that you respect my time, terms, and boundaries throughout the commission process. I put a lot of care and energy into each project, and I expect mutual respect in return.
If you issue a chargeback, behave inappropriately, cross personal boundaries, or repeatedly ignore communication (especially when I request your feedback or updates), I reserve the right to pause and cancel your commission at any time, and no refund will be issued.
Severe TOS violation or harassment of any kind will lead to a permanent blacklist, and may be publicly addressed if needed.
🎙️ LIVE2D COMMISSIONS
V-children must credit me publicly as model artist in all relevant places (bio, panels, website), this is not negotiable.
The way I draw or design the model outfit will be based on my interpretation of Twitch’s ToS.
Please communicate any adjustments you wish to align it with your interpretation.
I am not liable for the outfits that violate Twitch’s ToS, so it is your responsibility to review updated terms and assess any risks involved.While my models are detailed and polished, hiring an expert rigger is essential to fully bring your avatar to life.
I reserve the right to know which rigger you choose and to communicate with them, to ensure my art is showcased at its best.Only your chosen rigger has access to the model art PSD file, and no-one else.
I’ll adjust the PSD structure and layering to fit the rigger's workflow if needed.
Collaboration: I’m happy to work directly with your rigger and/or character designer.
We can create a group chat for coordination and help ensure everything goes smoothly.Model PSD is not to be edited, changed, sold or repurposed without my approval.
You’re not allowed to use my model PSD to commission other Live2D artists for new outfits, or add-ons.
The base PNG can be drawn on by you or an outfit designer — feel free to share any drafts with me if you’d like me to turn them into a full layered model later on!
If you plan to host an outfit design contest or share the base PNG with others, please ask me first — I’d appreciate being informed in advance!
Company and VTubers with 2000+ CCV pricing differs. Please inquire via email.
➕ ADD-ONS
Add-ons can be requested during or after the completion of the model art. Please review the conditions below:
During the Process
Please let me know as soon as possible if you change your mind about an add-on, so I can adjust the schedule and payment plan accordingly! We will always discuss alternatives to ensure the best artistic solution while staying within your planned budget.
If you want to add something not included in the initial brief, it may be free (if simple and quick to implement) or billed (if complex, time-consuming, or requires major adjustments).
Switching add-ons may be free (if work has not started and the change is simple) or billed (if work is already in progress or a complex add-on is requested).
If you want to remove an add-on that was initially planned, I can accept your request only if no work has started on that specific add-on yet and the payment plan hasn’t been fully completed for that add-on.
After Completion
Returning clients (my VTuber children) receive 20% off (capped at 200 EUR) on all add-ons ordered as updates.
Notes
For alternate poses or limbs, extra fees may apply if clothing / accessories layers need partial or full redrawing.
Adjustments are free if they are simple or if the affected limbs are non-clothed.
🔎 USAGE TYPES
👤 Personal + Stream Use
This is include in all base price. You’re free to use your commissioned artwork for:
Profile pictures, SNS banners, and social media posts (non-advertising)
Displaying on streaming platforms as part of your VTuber branding (overlays, panels, waiting screens)
Casual sharing on stream (e.g. “Look at this art I got!”)
Weekly schedule graphics and stream thumbnails
Printing one personal copy for display (non-profit use only — can be gifted, but not as a supporter reward)
❔ Why is streaming use included in the base price (along with personal use)?
Because I know many VTubers are indie, streaming out of passion or for fun — not everyone earns big from it! I want to make it easier and more accessible for you to use your commissioned art on stream without worrying about extra fees.
Please note: this is my personal choice starting from August 2025. Some artists may charge extra for streaming use, and that’s totally valid too! Always check with each artist’s terms before commissioning.
📺 Promotional Use
An additional 5–10% fee applies when the commissioned art helps generate income. This includes, but is not limited to:
Event banners, promo graphics, advertisements
Fundraising visuals, tip incentives, promotional campaigns
Affiliate or donation banners with embedded links
Posters or visuals used to promote content off-platform
➡️ For Live2D commissions (model art / rig):
This usage is included, meaning you may freely use screenshots of your model for online promotional banners or posters.
⚠️ For physical posters or printed banners featuring the model art, pricing will differ and will be discussed separately.
🛒 Merch Use
Merch use is calculated base on a production scale and includes:
Selling the art as merch (stickers, prints, keychains, etc.)
Using it in digital packs (wallpapers, Patreon rewards, etc.)
Printing multiple copies for giveaways or supporter perks
